After a decade of collaboration with community stakeholders and First Nations, Elk Ridge Community is excited to begin Phase One of its master-planned development in the historic Paldi area of the Cowichan Valley, B.C. Spanning 200 acres, the project has received a development permit for Phase One and is working closely with the Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) to ensure alignment with local needs and sustainability goals. Presales for the first 103 homes are already underway.

Elk Ridge plans a total of 355 residences designed for a sustainable, nature-focused lifestyle. Features include four parks, walking trails, an edible food forest, permaculture practices, and ATV-friendly neighborhoods. The community will also offer Net Zero solar-powered homes, promote food security, and prioritize health and wellness. A provincial water license ensures a reliable water supply as the community grows.

Future amenities include 20 acres of commercial space, a Health and Wellness Resort, Arctic Spa, Medical and Fitness Center, and possibly a private school. Alternative financing options will be available for qualified buyers, making homeownership more accessible.
